RH_Husband_Training_SchoolThe story of two sisters married multiple times and how they came to open the Husband Training School.

In this fast, funny and free 15-page prequel, author Ruth Harris lets readers know what to expect should they invest in the full-length novel.  The sisters running the school have two failed marriages each under their belt and while there’s no real sense if they have the experience or scope to run a training school, but the free prequel leaves little doubt of what sort of tale readers will experience and I, for one, am looking forward to moving on to the full version.

I’m generally not in favor of the infantilization of the male of the species. Mr. Rabid Readers is a pretty awesome guy and many men are quite the responsible beings. Harris gives us four men who are entertainingly flawed. The husband with the bad back rendering chores impossible and the husband with the mother attachment, and that is just two of the men this sister team have experienced and by specifying the faults, the prequel comes off less as a book focused on misandry and more as something we can all enjoy.

So is a free prequel a good idea when readers can sample the first chapters of the novel free? While a sample may give you the initial layout, a prequel gives you the plan and the prequel to [easyazon-link asin=”B00L5QGYH6″ locale=”us”]Husband Training School PREQUEL [FREEBIE][/easyazon-link] is a charming appetizer letting you know the chef is a master.
